December 29, 2018Mason Park is a small neighborhood park with some nice features. It has a large grassy area for picnics and a basketball court. In addition, it boasts a splash pad and a golf course. You could probably spend all day at the golf course if you wanted to!
The park is also home to several other amenities including a playground, an indoor gym, and a softball field. If you have kids, you are sure to want to check out these features as well. This is a great place to bring your family or a group of friends for a day of fun and sun. During the summer, the water play area is open, which is good news for mom and dad. While you are here, you should also take a trip to the San Fernando Valley Relics Museum.
Mason Park and its accompanying Splash Pad are an ideal destination for kids and families alike. The splash pad and the playground are the latest additions to the popular Los Angeles neighborhood. They have been designed to be a fun and interactive way to spend some time with the whole family. And with the park’s proximity to many schools and shopping, the kids are likely to have a blast as well.
Although the Splash Pad and its adjoining Playground may seem like they were made for children, you will find that their design is geared towards adults and teens. The requisite swimming pool and other facilities are maintained by the Los Angeles Recreation and Parks Department. The splash pad itself is free to use, but you may have to pay for access to the pool. Also, you will need to wear a bathing suit. There is some surface parking available for residents who need a spot.
While Mason Park in Chatsworth has been a staple of the Chatsworth community for many years, it has been recently renovated and upgraded, and you can expect to see some new amenities soon. Among the new features is a surprisingly sized and nicely shaded water play area. One of the better splash pads in the city.
Whether you’re planning a day at the office, or a night on the town, Mason Park is a worthy stop. For locals, the most enticing feature is the ability to relax and enjoy the outdoors at a pace that’s comfortable for everyone. During the summer, it’s worth taking a walk around the park to catch some rays, or taking the kids to the pool.
However, the best part about this neighborhood is that it’s very close to several other popular areas, including the Hollywood sign and Griffith Park. Not to mention its proximity to several universities, including UCLA and USC. These make it an ideal place to settle down and have some fun, while still being close to all of the action of the city.
Overall, Mason Park in Chatsworth is one of the more underrated neighborhoods of Los Angeles. Hopefully it will stay that way, and you’ll be able to explore its various offerings for years to come.
